Across three days, you’ll take four guided game drives: two in the morning and two in the evening. Each drive offers another chance to explore Wilpattu’s varied habitats and look for wildlife under different light and conditions.

Between safaris, relax at Wilpattu Safari Camp, situated just outside the national park boundary beside the park gate. Your two-night stay gives you time to enjoy the camp as well as the game drives, making this a rewarding choice for wildlife enthusiasts and travellers looking for good value from a short safari holiday.

Wilpattu is home to leopards, sloth bears, elephants and a rich variety of birds and other wildlife. No particular sighting can be promised, but four drives give your guide more opportunities to search, observe and adapt each safari to the conditions on the day.

Day 01: Arrive and take your first safari

• 12 noon — Meet our crew at the Wilpattu National Park entrance. We will take you the short distance to Wilpattu Safari Camp, just outside the park boundary.
• Lunch at camp before your first game drive.
• Evening guided game drive inside Wilpattu National Park. Set out with your guide to explore the park and look for wildlife as the afternoon light softens.
• Dinner and overnight stay at Wilpattu Safari Camp.

Day 02: Morning and evening game drives

• Early morning guided game drive. Return to Wilpattu in the cooler hours of the day. Your guide will look for wildlife activity along the tracks, among the forest and around the park’s natural water bodies.
• Breakfast back at camp, followed by time to rest and enjoy your surroundings.
• Evening guided game drive. Explore again later in the day. Conditions and sightings can differ from the morning, making each drive a distinct part of your Wilpattu camping safari.
• Dinner and overnight stay at camp.

Day 03: Final safari and departure

• Breakfast at camp.
• Morning guided game drive. Your fourth safari offers a final opportunity to explore Wilpattu and spend time observing its wildlife.
• Return to camp, then transfer to the park gate for checkout.

• Cancelled by you, with a notice coming to us less than 45 days prior to arrival date - There will be no refund for you.
• Cancelled by you, with a notice coming to us more than 45 days prior to arrival date - 80% of the total value will be refunded to you.
• No show - There will be no refund for you.
• None refundable fee - 20% of the total value
